Welcome to Handprints Parent, Baby & Toddler Groups

Handprints is a unique parent, baby and toddler group delivering equally to parents, carers and children. These are drop in sessions with no waiting list.

 

Fundamentally Handprints is a support group for parents and carers, however we have a strong framework that provides a planned play-programme promoting imaginative play and an excellent variety of toys including IT, construction and small world. There is a specific baby area including treasure baskets and sensory play. We also offer creative play with a different craft available each week...

 

At the end of each session we have a  sing-along time and parachute play, where the children have the opportunity to choose their favorite song or nursery rhyme.

 

We have various venues across Bristol with sessions running  Monday's  through to Friday's during the school term and we open for special events in the school holidays.

 

Handprints runs on a 'drop-in basis' children are free and the first adult £3.00 plus any additional adult £1 in the same family.  We also offer discounts if you attend more than once a week and if you recommend a friend. This includes organic squash for the children and endless tea and filter coffee for the parents.

 

 

 
In addition to our sessions we have  regular New & Used Sales, Family Fun Days and Pamper nights. Through out the year we  invite carefully choosen people to exhibit items to sell or demonstrate . These are seasonal stalls giving you the parents the opportunity to buy or watch a demo whilst at the group. 
We also plan to invite various speakers to the group offering support on weaning, toilet training and other childcare issues we all may encounter!
We will be  taking  part in charity events such as Toddler Waddle, Children in Need and Wrong Trousers Day.
